Televisions (TV)
Sat Sep 10, 2022 6:50 pm
Hey folks. Here, we can talk about TVs in general or show off what kind of TV you're using.
As for me, I'm gonna talk a bit about my TV and a fun fact about Sony TV as a brand. This year, I bought the Sony Bravia XR 48" A90K 4K OLED TV, which is a Master Series TV. I bought this when it launched on June 2022. Master Series is Sony Bravia's flagship line of TVs. My first ever expensive TV purchase, $1,500.
Let me tell you what I love about my TV:
1. Near accurate color out of the box.
2. Infinite contrast (OLED Tech).
3. Sharp details and good upscaling thanks to the Cognitive Processor XR.
4. Well rounded build quality and clean design.
5. 120hz, VRR and ALLM support.
6. Stunning HDR (Thanks to #2).
I will post photos of my TV when I can.
Another fun fact, Sony has been manufacturing TVs for many decades since the 1960s. Many studios and big budget film productions that film the movies you watch uses Sony reference monitors due to their reliable color and HDR accuracy.

Sony Bravia XR Master Series A90K 4K OLED [2022]
Testing out the HDR and color performance of this TV. Not the brightest TV but the picture quality is phenomenal. It's bright enough for a bedroom or PC monitor use.
